I specialize in creating learner-centered training programs that enhance employee performance and drive business success in both the retail and technical sectors.
Completing the Instructional Design Certificate course from ATD equipped me with a comprehensive understanding of the instructional design process. I learned to apply learning theories and models, develop effective learning objectives, and create engaging content using the ADDIE model. I also gained practical skills in needs assessment, content curation, and evaluation methods, all essential for designing impactful and outcome-based training programs.
During this course, I learned how to create effective program evaluation plans that maximize business results while minimizing resource use. I gained the ability to objectively allocate training resources to areas with the most significant business impact and understood the difference between effective training and training effectiveness. I also became proficient in using the Kirkpatrick Model to evaluate training programs.
